Artist's Description
A rusty saw with a red handle is placed against a weathered blue wooden background. The blue paint on the wood is peeling, revealing an older layer beneath and adding a sense of age and use.
Part of a collection of tools that my Uncle picked up somewhere which had been painted red by a previous owner.
Maybe the guy was tired of people walking off with his tools or maybe he really, really, really like the color red.
Who knows?
My Uncle certainly found them interesting enough to have bought them.
