A pair of old, rusted shears with red handles hangs on a weathered blue wooden plank wall that has paint peeling off. The contrasting vivid colors and textures of the scissors against the faded background give a sense of vintage tools forgotten or discarded over time.

Part of a collection of tools that my Uncle picked up somewhere which had been painted red by a previous owner.

Maybe the guy was tired of people walking off with his tools or maybe he really, really, really like the color red.

Who knows?

My Uncle certainly found them interesting enough to have bought them.
