Saw this while in Pittsfield Mass. to attend a friend gallery show opening.
Apparently it was the area smoking spot because it was carpeted with cigarette butts.
I bought a cheap broom at a dollar store and swept the area clean, set up my camera on a tripod and waited for an hour before the sun peaked through the clouds with enough strength to form the shadows.
Then I had to argue with a cop who wanted to give me a ticket for dumping the butts in a nearby city trash can.
